Impliant Raises $250K of $4.65M Offering, Bringing 4-Month Total Raise to $8.9M - CBL

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Biotechnology firm Impliant Inc. has raised $250,000 of a $4.65 million equity offering, according to a Reg D filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

That makes four consecutive-month raises by Impliant, totaling $8.9 million. As Citybizlist reported, Impliant last month raised $750,000, and in August raised $600,000. In July, the company raised $7.3 million, according to a Reg D filing with the SEC.

The same principals named are named in this offering's filing as the last one: Todd Potokar, executive officer and director; directors Charles Cohen, Dalia Megiddo and Zvika Slovin; and promoter Impliant Ltd. in Ramat Poleg, Israel.

In addition to Impliant's Princeton facility, which spearheads clinical, regulatory, marketing and business development activities, the company has a facility in Ramat Poleg, responsible for research and development, engineering and production activities.

Founded in 2004, Impliant develops spine arthroplasty alternatives to fusion surgery. Its core product is the Total Posterior Arthroplasty System (TOPS), a device designed to treat spinal stenosis.
