About Ann Priftis

Ann Priftis is the Owner of Clark Priftis Art LLC, a comprehensive fine art services firm specializing in the sale of original fine art, professional appraisals, corporate collecting, art investment advice and gallery consultation.

Ann received her BA in Art History from the University of Maryland in College Park and went on to attend George Washington University to obtain her Certificate in Fine and Decorative Arts Appraisal from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).  During this time, she worked for a prestigious gallery specializing in 19th/20th century original European and American oils, watercolors and bronzes. After acceptance to the Sotheby’s Art Business Administration Masters program, Ann moved to Manhattan where she acted as Director of Sales for several long-running contemporary galleries and was elected to the Board of Directors for Emerging Artists International.

In the fall of ’95, Ann moved her office to Baltimore and has been dealing fine art to individuals and companies in Charm City ever since.  Ann lectures on topics such as ‘Art Collecting 101’ and the ‘Basics of Art Appraisal’ in venues around the area such as the Engineer’s Club and Roland Park School’s Kalidescope program.
