Cushman & Wakefield Expands DC Brokerage Team

WASHINGTON, DC -- Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has added two members to its Brokerage Services Group in Washington, DC. Renee Brockinton joins as an associate broker and Shawn Cornelius joins as a financial analyst.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Renee Brockinton will focus on corporate tenant and landlord representation services in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Prior to joining the firm, Brockinton worked at CB Richard Ellis where she assisted in due diligence coordination and research support for the team's business development resources. She began her real estate career with Realty Capital Partners, LLC working with Investment Managers evaluating real estate investment opportunities. Brockinton holds an MBA in Real Estate and Management from Southern Methodist University.
Shawn Cornelius will be responsible for providing Cushman & Wakefield's tenants and landlords with customized cash flow analyses and financial modeling for a broad range of real estate transactions including lease restructures, option comparisons, sublease probability evaluations, relocation alternatives, termination options and national portfolio tracking. Previously, Cornelius worked with JPMorgan Chase & Co. in their Securities Lending division, where he helped protect clients' assets, mitigate risk and increase operational efficiency.
Brockinton and Cornelius support Vice Chairman Audrey Cramer, Executive Directors Michael Katcher and Malcolm Marshall, and Senior Director Scott Hoffman in DC's Brokerage Services Group. The team specializes in tenant and landlord representation for major law firms, associations, corporations and nonprofits. Combined, the team has over 85 years of experience and has completed over $6B worth of transactions.
